Please see update below! Hi, and welcome to our website. Smf Rc Works is a one family operation, and as always born, raised, and made in the U.S.A. Chances are if it's RC then we have done it. Trucks, cars, planes, helicopters, boats, racing, drifting, and crawling are all hobbies that we love and have participated in. Right now most of our work consist of welded steel tubing and solid bar products such as Chassis, Roll Bars, Roll Cages, Headache Racks, Chase Truck Racks, etc. Please remember when comparing to other cages, be sure you're not comparing "apples to oranges". All Roll Cages Are Not Created Equal! All of ours are made the old fashion, time consuming, hand fabricated method. None of our products are stamped out by machines, cast out of so called metal which can be a weak pot metal consisting of almost anything, or left with terrible looking welds as many do. We are truly RC fabricators. Our products are available both direct from us through email, as well as eBay as we are able to list them. As we build this site we will be adding more info about what we do, and the different products we offer. In the following pages you will see some of the many designs that we offer. Please keep in mind that we are a custom builder, and do fabricate one off designs as well, and can also add details you may want, to any of our existing builds. We can also build a particular roll cage you may see here, for a body that is different than the one it is pictured on. This degree of personalization is always available to you! Important Update: We now build to many more Chassis/Body combinations than ever. Please read on for this important information. Hi, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, about what we are doing, as well as what we can do. I will be updating our website in the next few days, to include even more information. Since our hobby is always changing, we try hard to keep up to date. While we cannot build for every chassis/body combination, we do try to build to the most popular. As many of you may know we just purchased an RC4WD Marlin and a Traxxas TRX-4, so we may offer more options to you. For those not familiar, the original RC4WD Trail Finder body, RC4WD TF2 body, and RC4WD Marlin body are all very similar. What we have now verified is that any of these bodies, as well as Tamiya's Hilux body, will work well with any of our roll cages that begin with the model numbers (H0). These include our popular H066, H062, and many others. A word about different chassis. Any roll cage that will fit Axial's scx10 chassis, will fit their scx10ii chassis as well. There is no difference in mounting points. Regarding RC4WD's chassis', any of our roll cages built for the Axial chassis', can now be made to fit either the TF2 or Marlin chassis, but we need you to specify which, as they are different. Any cage that we list on eBay always explains what combinations it will fit. Direct orders from our website will be made to your specification, as we are able. We are just starting to build to the Traxxas TRX-4, and will offer those as soon as available. If you have any questions regarding a roll cage for your TRX-4, please contact us at [email protected] To simplify things somewhat here is a current fitment guide, which I hope can help answer any question. Remember always ask us when in doubt. Below will list chassis/body combinations, that we are currently building for. Axial scx10 or scx10ii chassis: The bodies we can build to are the Tamiya Hilux, RC4WD Trail Finder, TF2, Marlin, Axial Honcho, Proline F250, Tamyia Tundra, Proline SR5, or Proline Chevy 66 body. RC4WD Trail Finder, TF2, or Marlin chassis: The bodies we can build to are the Tamiya Hilux, RC4WD Trail Finder, RC4WD TF2 and RC4WD Marlin body. TRX-4 chassis: Right now the bodies we can built to are the Axial Honcho, Proline F250, Tamyia Tundra, Proline SR5, and the Chevy 66 body so far. We will add to this list as we confirm other bodies will work.
